Homographs are words that have the same spelling, but different meanings. Some can also sound different.
Below I have listed ten words that have the same spelling but different meanings.

AIR - This is what we breathe every day AND a melodic tune.

BRIGHT - This word means, intelligent and quick witted AND full of light.
CURRENT - This word means, something that is happening the present time AND a flow of electricity

DESERT - This word means, an area of land where little or no rain falls AND to abandon a person or cause.
ENTRANCE - This word means, an opening, such as a door AND to fill a person with delight and wonder.
FAIR - This word means, to treat a person without favouritism AND a gathering of stalls and amusements for public entertainment.
INCENSE - This word means, a substance that can produce a pleasant smell when burned AND to infuriate a person and make them very angry.

OBJECT - This word means, a physical thing that you can see and touch AND if a person is against something, then they can OBJECT.
PROJECT - This word means, a body of work collected together to present to a teacher or boss AND to project an image of something on a screen for others to see.
REBEL - This word means, a person who resists authority, control or convention AND to show an opposition to something that is unsatisfactory.
